Detoxification Mudra

Mudra practitioners should commence their practice with Detoxification Mudra. This mudra has to be performed for 7 to 10 days for a duration of 15 to 45 minutes. You can also practice thrice a day for 15 minutes during every session. Since this mudra aids in detoxification, it is essential that you commence your mudra practice with this mudra and then proceed to perform other mudras based on your needs.

How to Perform Detoxification Mudra?

  • Sit down with your back and neck straight.
  • Spread out your fingers.
  • Place the tip of your thumb on the inner side of the lower joint of your ring finger.
  • Press very gently.
  • Keep your eyes closed and focus on Detoxification Mudra.
  • Maintain normal breathing.

Performing Detoxification Mudra will cause elimination of toxins through urine, stools and / or sweat. Look for symptoms such as excess urination, change of urine color, increase in frequency of bowel movement, change in stool types and color and excessive sweating.
