Mother's Day - A Never-Ending Feeling of Love and Compassion

Motherliness – A feeling so divine

It transcends the barriers in every form

Be it mothers, women and men

Motherliness is Universal.

From the tiniest creature to giant-sized animals

From toddlers to ripe aged persons

Motherliness can be felt everywhere.

Dog embracing a kitten

Monkey embracing a puppy

Lion embracing a deer

Motherliness in ‘wild’ nature.

In the act of kindness in children

In the show of love towards others in seniors

It is evident that motherliness is ageless.

When fatherhood is inclusive of motherly care

When parents experience the joy of being children to their children

The message could not be more transparent -Motherliness knows no bounds

Motherliness in those committed to social causes

Makes the world a better place

And also preserves the world to nurture tomorrow’s motherliness

Studies say that plants and trees have emotions

I hardly look beyond my mind for proof of the emotions

Plants and trees arouse in me.

Every second I am with plants and trees

Every moment I appreciate them

Deep inside me, I feel the love of mother And I feel the bond only motherliness can create.

When trees captivate my attention and seemingly never let me go off, I undergo the emotions of an infant that never wants to leave mother’s side.

When I am surrounded by trees and plants I feel the power of motherliness Like a baby who never lets go off their mothers’ hold Like a baby who loves the warmth of mother’s shoulders, So they can experience more of their mother’s love.

The very nature of trees is motherliness. The tranquility and strength the trees offer make me relive the times I was my mother’s child.

To every mother who sows the seeds of clarity

To every mother who strengthens and guides

To every mother who inculcates moral values

To every mother who brings out the motherliness in those around

To Motherliness all around the world, here is our heartfelt Mother's Day Wishes.

  • Similar to Keezhadi excavations which bring to light the rich past of the Thamizh civilization, Thirumoolar's Thirumanthiram draws our attention to the unbelievably rich knowledge possessed by ancient Thamizh civilization in the field of medicine. It will be only right to say that Thirumoolar would have been the world's first anatomical scientist.
